Hi everyone! My name is Natasha, and I live in beautiful Colorado! I have many writing projects in the works, mostly stories for readers who are young and young at heart. I'm married and have two children, two old dogs, a large kitten, and innumerable fish.
In addition to writing, I enjoy reading, voice recording, dancing, baking, and exploring. ;)
I'm a storyteller and prone to exaggeration, but I could never decide whether to pursue writing or film as a career. I received my BA in Communications (Film/Video) with a minor in English from Georgia State, but I succumbed to the genetic pull to teach (I'm from a family of educators). I taught Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten before traveling to Japan and teaching English there for three years. I was also an adjunct instructor during my 10+ years in the U.S. Air Force.
In January 2019, I started the Writing for Children and Young Adults Masters' program at the renowned Vermont College of Fine Arts! I'm so excited! I love writing immensely, and since middle school, I've never stopped telling stories. I'm excited to dig into my craft, and I hope to make the list of great authors one day. :)
