Hi everyone! My name is Natasha, and I live in northern California. I have many projects in the works, mostly stories for readers who are young and young at heart. I'm married and have two children, two old dogs, a dog-like cat, a bearded dragon, and innumerable fish. Every day is a party here!
In addition to writing, I enjoy sketching, art journaling, theater, reading, voice recording, dancing, baking, and exploring.
I'm a storyteller and prone to exaggeration, but I could never decide whether to pursue writing or film as a career. I received my BA in Communications (Film/Video) with a minor in English from Georgia State, but I succumbed to the genetic pull to teach (I'm from a family of educators). I taught Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and kindergarten before traveling to Japan and teaching English there for three years. I was also an adjunct college instructor during my time in the U.S. Air Force. In 2021, I received my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the renowned Vermont College of Fine Arts. I love writing immensely, and since middle school, I've never stopped telling stories. I'm excited to dig into my craft and truly develop as an artist.
